Peggy Rooth enjoys a lifetime of experience assisting home buyers and sellers with successful outcomes throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. When her grandson was born, Peggy knew it was time to make Charlottesville home so she can spend as much time with her family as she wants, which brings joy to her heart!  She is delighted to be back in the area with mountain vistas, great hiking and loving life in Cville!

Peggy has been a REALTOR® since 1976, active in all facets of the industry from buyer and seller representation to property management and real estate instruction. After being a teacher for many years, she joined her family real estate company, founded by her father, and became the managing broker. During that time Peggy served on the Delray Beach Board of Realtors as an officer and chaired the Education Committee. In 1979 she was named Realtor of the Year by that Board.

1982 brought Peggy to North Carolina where she opened Rooth & Associates, Inc Real Estate as well as The Rooth School of Real Estate where she taught Fundamentals in Real Estate, a pre-licensing class. Active in the Highlands Cashiers Board of Realtors, Peggy served two terms as President, all while growing her real estate business and firm to one of the largest in town. Charlotte, NC became home for Peggy and her daughter in 1995 and she continued her real estate career with a focus on new home sales and construction as well as general real estate. 

In 2018 Peggy expanded her territory and became a licensed real estate broker in Virginia to work with family members and friends moving to the Charlottesville area. Peggy says, “While I have been honored with many awards throughout the years, nothing brings me more satisfaction and joy than the smile on my clients face when I help them achieve their real estate investment goal.”
